PH Covid-19 recoveries hit 409K, new cases at 1,383

The Philippines reported 133 new recoveries on Thursday, bringing the national tally to 409,058 recoveries.

Newly confirmed cases rose by 1,383, increasing active cases to 27,781 with most being mild (85.5%) and asymptomatic (6.7%).

The death toll increased by 24 to 8,701.

Previously, on Wednesday, the DOH reported 156 recoveries and 1,387 new cases, raising active cases to 26,545 with a 92.1% recovery rate.

On Tuesday, 139 recoveries were added, pushing total recoveries to 408,790; 1,400 new cases raised active cases to 25,325 and the death toll rose by 98 to 8,670.
