Cities allocate funds for COVID-19 vaccines

Butuan City plans to allocate PHP61 million for purchasing COVID-19 vaccines, targeting around 200,000 doses for priority groups such as healthcare workers and senior citizens.

Kidapawan City has set aside PHP20 million through a tripartite agreement with the national government and suppliers to ensure vaccine access for front-liners and vulnerable sectors.

Tacurong City also earmarked PHP20 million for vaccine procurement, prioritizing the most vulnerable groups and front-line workers, and will seek additional funding from the provincial government.
