PAGASA spots new LPA off Eastern Samar

PAGASA spotted a new low pressure area (LPA) 375 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar on Wednesday.

The LPA is embedded in the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), which will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Mindanao and eastern Visayas, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are expected in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
