In the game against Hong Kong, Sotto contributed with 12 points and 15 rebounds along with two blocks, continuing his impressive run in the qualifiers.

Sotto's impact was highlighted by Justin Brownlee, who praised him for his potential to play in the NBA due to his height, size, and skill.

With a perfect 4-0 record in the qualifiers, Sotto aims to maintain his high level of play when Gilas faces Chinese Taipei in their next window starting February 20.
