SoKor pledges P10-M for Taal Volcano evacuees

South Korea pledged USD200,000 (approximately PHP10 million) in humanitarian aid for Filipinos affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.

The donation will be channeled through the Philippine Red Cross to assist approximately 45,000 evacuees displaced since the January 12 eruption.

This is part of South Korea's ongoing humanitarian assistance to the Philippines following natural disasters such as Typhoon Ompong and the Mindanao earthquake.
