Soccsksargen implements general community quarantine starting Monday

Soccsksargen region is implementing heightened quarantine measures starting Monday to contain the spread of COVID-19.

Sarangani province has already been placed under general community quarantine with curfew hours from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

South Cotabato will implement a 14-day enhanced community quarantine and calibrated total lockdown starting Friday, restricting non-residents' entry and suspending public transportation.

General Santos City plans to enforce similar measures starting Monday, limiting travel and imposing curfew hours.

The region's inter-agency task force aims for uniform curfew hours across all provinces from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., with special lanes for essential goods delivery.
