CAR traces contacts of first Covid-19 patient from Abra

A 39-year-old OFW from Abra, who arrived from the United Arab Emirates on March 2 and visited several towns in the province, is the first confirmed COVID-19 case in the Cordillera Administrative Region.

The patient experienced symptoms on March 9 and sought medical attention at a hospital in La Union on March 10, where he was tested for COVID-19.

Health officials are now conducting contact tracing to monitor people who came into contact with the OFW.
