Smart provides Wi-Fi at new COVID-19 healthcare facilities

Smart Communications announced on Monday, April 6, that it would provide Wi-Fi at several new COVID-19 healthcare facilities including Ninoy Aquino Stadium, the Philippine International Convention Center Tent, and the World Trade Center.

These locations have been converted into treatment facilities for patients under monitoring and investigation.

The company also provided Wi-Fi at La Salle Greenhills campus in Mandaluyong which houses health workers from nearby hospitals.

Smart has pledged to provide carrier-grade fiber-powered Wi-Fi connections to newly activated quarantine sites as part of efforts to contain the virus, according to DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.
