SM ups COVID-19 donations to P170M

The SM Group has increased its donations to over P170 million to aid in fighting the spread of COVID-19.

The funds will prioritize procuring personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers, acquiring locally developed test kits, and purchasing ventilators for hospitals with severe cases.

SM Foundation has distributed PPEs to major government hospitals such as the Philippine General Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital, Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, San Lazaro Hospital, East Avenue Medical Center, and Philippine Heart Center.
