Negros Oriental reports additional 7 COVID-19 cases

Negros Oriental reported one additional COVID-19 case on Thursday, bringing the total active cases in the province to 18.

The new case is a 39-year-old woman from Dumaguete who was admitted to the Negros Oriental Provincial Hospital with flu-like symptoms and shortness of breath.

Previously, six more cases were reported on Wednesday, increasing the total number to 17, including two from Cebu.

Two of the new cases are fishermen from Ayungon, two are from Mabinay (one an OFW and one an LSI), one is from Sibulan, and one is from Jimalalud.
