Digos City records seven new Covid cases, total now nine

Digos City recorded seven new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total number to nine.

The newly confirmed patients are currently hospitalized at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City.

One of the previously reported cases tested negative on a repeat test, but will undergo another re-test after several days as per protocol.

Vice Mayor Johari Baña urged residents to remain calm and avoid discrimination against those affected by COVID-19.

The city is preparing isolation facilities for returning residents and OFWs in compliance with DILG directives.
