NLEX SCTEX Mabiga lane closures April 2-6 for Malolos-Clark Railway Project

NLEX management announced road closures on Tuesday for the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) Mabiga area from April 2 to April 6, 2024, due to construction for the Malolos-Clark Railway Project.

Closures will affect lanes going NLEX and Subic/Tarlac at different times during the specified dates, with motorists advised to use shoulder lanes as an alternative route during certain periods.

Specifically, Lane 2 of the NLEX direction will be closed from 10 p.m. on April 2 to 5 a.m. on April 3, and again from 10 p.m. on April 5 to 5 a.m. on April 6.

Lane 2 going Subic/Tarlac will also be closed from 10 p.m. on April 3 to 5 a.m. on April 4.

Directional and safety signs will be placed in strategic areas to guide drivers through the closures.

The Malolos-Clark Railway Project, part of the North-South Commuter Railway initiative by the Department of Transportation and Philippine National Railways, aims to connect Metro Manila with Clark International Airport by 2026.
