NLEX opens widened ramp Saturday-Monday for Holy Week travel

NLEX Corporation announced the temporary opening of a widened ramp connecting the North Luzon Expressway to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway starting Saturday, March 30, through Monday, April 1.

The additional lane is intended to reduce congestion for motorists traveling from Tarlac to Manila during Holy Week.

Thousands of travelers are expected to use this new ramp as they head to the provinces for the long holiday break.

NLEX Corp., a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. and part of Metro Pacific Investments Corp., implemented this project as an immediate solution to ease traffic.

The initiative aims to provide smoother travel for drivers during the peak holiday period, with the Department of Tourism advising travelers to 'travel wisely' and patronize DOT-accredited tourism enterprises.
