Sara Duterte visits Leni Robredo during Peñafrancia Festival

Vice President Sara Duterte visited former Vice President Leni Robredo at her home in Naga City, Camarines Sur on Friday during the Peñafrancia Festival.

According to Atty. Barry Gutierrez, the conversation between Duterte and Robredo lasted about an hour and was described as personal rather than political.

Robredo confirmed the meeting, noting that she learned of it just minutes before Duterte arrived.

Duterte's visit was arranged by a Bicolano friend who invited her to attend the Peñafrancia fiesta and centennial anniversary mass.

During her stay in Naga, Duterte also met with other prominent Bicol personalities and attended mass with local residents.

Robredo and Duterte have been friends since before they entered politics, despite their current political differences.
