Metro Manila mayors impose uniform curfew starting March 15

Metro Manila mayors agreed to impose uniform curfew hours from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., starting March 15, in response to rising COVID-19 cases.

The decision aims to prevent people from clustering and roaming the streets at night.

Essential workers will still be allowed outside during curfew hours but must present their work identification card or certificate.

San Juan has already reimposed its city-wide curfew from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., while Metro Manila mayors have yet to discuss imposing a liquor ban.
