Samar lifts lockdown in 2 sub-villages after 15 days

Tarangnan town in Samar lifted the total lockdown on two sub-villages on Tuesday after 15 days with no new cases.

The sub-villages of Duyunan in Imelda village and Upper Bahay in Bahay village were placed under lockdown on April 7 due to two residents testing positive for COVID-19.

Both patients are health workers at Tarangnan Community Hospital who had close contact with the region’s second patient from Calbayog City; new test results showed they are now negative but will undergo home isolation.
