7-year-old patient tests negative for COVID-19

A seven-year-old patient from Dumalinao, Zamboanga del Sur, has been discharged from the hospital after testing negative for COVID-19.

The child underwent two swab tests at the Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center and both results were negative.

The boy's mother also tested negative for the virus and they are now under home quarantine for 14 days.

This is the third confirmed case in Zamboanga del Sur to recover from COVID-19, with the first two patients being discharged on April 6th.

Despite this positive news, the enhanced community quarantine remains in effect in the province.
