Roque denies violating protocols after Boracay trip

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque denied violating quarantine protocols after visiting Iloilo and Boracay over the weekend.

Roque clarified he was not exposed to a staff member infected with COVID-19 before his trips and only found out afterward.

A dive shop in Boracay attested that Roque dived alone and followed safety protocols, with no other staff present during his trip.

Roque tested negative upon returning from Boracay but later learned one of his Manila-based staff members had tested positive for COVID-19.

He stressed he did not violate any quarantine rules and will join the IATF meeting virtually while in isolation.
