Rolly damage now PHP18-B: NDRRMC

As of Wednesday, the damage caused by Super Typhoon Rolly has reached nearly PHP18 billion, with infrastructure damage at PHP12.86 billion and agricultural damage at PHP5 billion.

The affected regions include Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR), and the National Capital Region (NCR).

On Tuesday, the NDRRMC reported that damage to infrastructure was PHP12.867 billion and agricultural damage was PHP4.999 billion.

The super typhoon has damaged 170,773 houses, with 37,449 classified as 'totally damaged' and 133,324 considered 'partially damaged'.

Agricultural land affected by Rolly spans 65,897 hectares.
