Requinton earns Player of Week honors, becomes Criss Cross starter

Jaron Requinton has become an integral part of Criss Cross' starting lineup in the 2025 Spikers' Turf Open Conference, earning him Player of the Week honors for his performance from March 12 to 16.

Starting as a temporary player, Requinton's consistent performances have earned him recognition and a permanent spot on the team.

In recent matches, he scored nine points against VNS-Laticrete and topped Cignal with 18 points before scoring a career-high 22 points in a five-set victory over Savouge.

Requinton emphasized the importance of remaining focused as they approach tougher challenges in the semifinals, despite their current unbeaten record of 9-0.

Criss Cross will face PGJC-Navy on Wednesday before shifting its focus to the round-robin semifinals.
