Jude Garcia named Player of the Week for outstanding performance in Spikers' Turf Open Conference

Jude Garcia of Criss Cross was named Player of the Week for his outstanding performance in a recent Spikers' Turf Open Conference match.

Garcia scored 12 points, including three blocks, as Criss Cross defeated Savouge Spin Doctors with scores of 25-22, 25-18, and 25-18 on Sunday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

The King Crunchers focused on service receive, blocking, and defense to secure their victory over last year's Invitational Conference bronze medalist.

Garcia also led Criss Cross against PGJC-Navy Sealions with a game-high 16 points, along with 11 receptions and seven digs earlier in the elimination round.

Criss Cross welcomed back Marck Espejo from his stint in the Japan V.League to bolster their lineup for the semifinals.
