Cotabato City logs 13 new COVID-19 cases

Cotabato City reported 13 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, bringing the city's total to 124 since March.

The new cases prompted a lockdown in Barangay Poblacion 6 where a recent spike was observed following a death of a fish vendor on September 8.

There are now 76 active cases and one recorded death in Cotabato City, with 47 recoveries to date.

Region 12 logged the highest single-day spike of 72 new cases on Thursday, surpassing BARMM's total cases for the same period.

The region has a cumulative total of 873 confirmed cases since March, with 397 recovered patients and 459 active cases.
