OFWs infected with COVID-19 climbs to 651

As of Saturday, April 11, the number of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) infected with COVID-19 has risen to 651, with 21 new cases reported.

The total number of recoveries increased by 16 to 188, while the death toll rose to 84 after five new deaths were recorded.

Patients currently undergoing treatment are at 379.

Previously, on Friday, April 10, there were 634 confirmed cases among OFWs across various regions including Asia Pacific (226), Europe (210), the Americas (114), and Middle East/Africa (62).

The recovery rate stands at 27.1%, with 172 recoveries recorded, while fatalities account for 12.5% of total cases.
