ITCZ, LPA bring scattered rains, thunderstorms

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Western Visayas, MIMAROPA, Quezon, Laguna, Batangas, Cavite due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Bicol Region, and MIMAROPA will also experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by an LPA embedded in the ITCZ.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
