Rain, thunderstorms hit Luzon, Visayas due to LPA, habagat

Rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over parts of the Philippines on Tuesday due to a low-pressure area (LPA) and the southwest monsoon.

The LPA was last spotted 715 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora, with a low chance of developing into a storm.

Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol region, Mimaropa, Western Visayas, and Samar provinces will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the southwest monsoon or localized thunderstorms.
