PAGASA issues red warnings for severe flooding in NCR, Calabarzon

PAGASA warned Sunday night of possible severe flooding in Metro Manila and nearby provinces due to Typhoon Karding.

A red heavy rainfall warning was issued for Metro Manila, Tarlac, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Bulacan, and Rizal, while an orange warning with threatening floods was raised over Quezon, Zambales, Bataan, Laguna, Batangas, and Cavite.

PAGASA also hoisted a yellow alert in parts of Quezon province, cautioning that flooding is possible in flood-prone areas.

Additionally, a red rainfall warning was issued for parts of Calabarzon, including Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Patnanungan, and Jomalig in Quezon province, with a yellow warning hoisted over Rizal, Laguna, and other areas in Quezon.
