Quiapo Church schedules Black Nazarene feast, Jan 9

The Quiapo Church has released the schedule for the Feast of the Black Nazarene, set to take place on January 9, 2025.

This year's celebration will focus on the theme 'Mas mabuti ang pagsunod kaysa paghahandog (1 Sam. 15:22)' or 'It is better to obey than to sacrifice.'

Key activities include a Walk of Thanksgiving on New Year's Eve, barangay visits from January 1-6, and masses throughout the week leading up to January 9.

On January 9, multiple masses will start at midnight with special fiesta masses in the afternoon and evening, followed by evening services.

At Quirino Grandstand, activities include a mass for volunteers on January 6, the Pahalik event from January 7-9, culminating in a band parade and vigil program on January 8.
