Quezon City job fair offers over 11,000 opportunities

The Quezon City government announced on Wednesday that over 11,000 job opportunities will be available during its Labor Day Job Fair on May 1.

Around 100 private companies and government agencies from various industries will participate in the fair, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the QC MICE Center.

Mayor Joy Belmonte emphasized that the job fair is part of the city's commitment to provide inclusive employment opportunities for its residents.

Major employers include National Bookstore, Andok's Litson Corporation, Asia Brewery, and UnionBank, among others, offering positions such as customer service representatives, cashiers, drivers, and kitchen staff.

Applicants are advised to bring updated résumés and valid IDs, along with appropriate attire for interviews. Free résumé printing services will also be available on site.

A one-stop shop for government services will provide onsite registration and ID issuance from agencies like the Social Security System and Pag-IBIG, as well as employment clearances.
