Quezon City imposes 8 pm-5 am 'public safety hours'

Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte imposed 'public safety hours' from 8 pm to 5 am starting March 16 to control the spread of coronavirus.

During these hours, residents are prohibited from loitering in public places including streets, sidewalks, and commercial establishments.

The Quezon City council is set to pass a similar ordinance following the Metro Manila Council's resolution recommending curfew hours during the community quarantine.
