QC COVID-19 cases drop below 1K, positivity rate falls

Quezon City has seen a significant drop in COVID-19 cases and positivity rates due to public cooperation.

From February 1 to 7, Quezon City averaged 255 daily cases, which dropped to an average of 113 from February 8 to 14.

The city's reproduction number also decreased to less than 0.19 from 0.29 the previous week.

Active COVID-19 cases in Quezon City have fallen from 6,828 on February 1 to just 962 as of Wednesday.

Under its QCProtekTODO Vaccination Program, Quezon City has administered over 5 million doses and fully vaccinated more than 2.3 million residents, including minors.
