Qatar bans arrivals from PH, 13 others over coronavirus

Qatar imposed a temporary entry ban on travelers from 14 countries including the Philippines starting March 9.

The ban covers passengers who have traveled to these countries within the last 14 days.

Philippine Airlines canceled its flights between Manila and Doha, while Qatar Airways has not issued any advisory on flight cancellations for the same routes.

Qatar reported three new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing their total to 15.

The Philippines recorded four new cases on Sunday, increasing the national tally to 10.
