PSG suspends Duterte’s foreign trips over COVID-19

President Rodrigo Duterte's future foreign trips have been suspended due to concerns over the spread of COVID-19.

The Presidential Security Group (PSG) announced the suspension based on recommendations from the Department of Health (DOH).

Duterte was tested for the virus as a precautionary measure after several Cabinet members isolated themselves following contact with a confirmed case.

As of now, Duterte's foreign travel is restricted to countries without confirmed cases of COVID-19.
