US, Canada volleyball players seek Philippines transfer

Filipina-American volleyball players MJ Phillips and Fil-Canadian Savi Davison, along with Brooke Van Sickle, are in the process of transferring federations to join the Philippines.

Phillips is currently under the US Federation, while Davison belongs to Canada's federation; Van Sickle also plays for the USA Volleyball Federation.

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) vice president Ricky Palou confirmed that the three players have expressed their interest and are working on obtaining clearance from the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

Palou hopes to get a result by June, which would allow them to be included in future international tournaments.

While it is unlikely they will participate in the upcoming AVC Challenge Cup for Women due to timing constraints, PNVF aims to include these players in the national team pool for future competitions.
