Creamline, Choco Muho, Chery Tiggo, Petro Gazz start PVL All-Filipino Conference semis in round-robin format

Creamline, Choco Muho, Chery Tiggo, and Petro Gazz are set to compete in a round-robin format for the semifinals of the 2024 PVL All-Filipino Conference starting Tuesday.

This year marks the first time the league will use this system instead of the previous crossover best-of-three format to determine the finalists.

Tots Carlos from Creamline and Mylene Paat from Chery Tiggo will miss the semifinals opener due to commitments in the Korean V-League Women's Asian Quota Draft tryouts, which began on Monday, April 29.

Tuesday's opening match features a rematch between Creamline and Choco Mucho at 4 pm, followed by Petro Gazz against Chery Tiggo at 6 pm.

It remains to be seen whether Carlos and Paat will return for their teams' second semifinal matches on Thursday, May 2, just one day after the conclusion of the tryouts.
