Choco Muvo wins two straight in PVL All-Filipino Conference semifinals

Choco Muvo secured their first-ever victory against Creamline and followed it up with a straight-set win over Chery Tiggo on Thursday, May 2, during the 2024 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference semifinals.

Captain Maddie Madayag expressed relief over the wins, noting they were long overdue after multiple attempts and crediting teamwork for overcoming a 12-game losing streak.

Veteran player Royse Tubino led Choco Muvo with 17 points in attacks against Chery Tiggo, contributing to their winning momentum despite ongoing injuries to key players like Des Cheng and Kat Tolentino.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin praised his players' consistent effort throughout the matches, emphasizing the importance of each game and making key adjustments that turned the tide in Choco Muvo's favor.

With a 2-0 win-loss record, Choco Muvo now holds the solo top spot heading into their next match against Petro Gazz on Sunday, positioning them strongly to clinch another finals berth.
