DOH: Discharged PUIs for Covid-19 now 548

As of Thursday, Feb 27, the total number of discharged patients under investigation (PUIs) for Covid-19 increased to 548 from 510.

The DOH reported that PUIs are allowed to return home after testing negative twice for the virus.

Currently, there are 64 PUIs admitted in various health facilities nationwide, with a total of 615 PUIs including three confirmed cases.

Two patients who tested positive have since recovered or left the country: a 38-year-old woman was discharged and a 60-year-old woman returned to China; the third patient is a deceased 44-year-old man.
