PUJs resume in 14 low-risk areas

Traditional public utility jeepneys (PUJs) have resumed operations in some provinces and regions with low-risk COVID-19 infection.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said PUJs are operating in areas like Baguio and Bohol where buses and modern PUVs are insufficient.

As of Monday, PUJs can now operate in 12 additional areas including Bulacan, Pampanga, Cagayan de Oro, South Cotabato, Siquijor, and regions such as Ilocos, Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, and Caraga.
