DSWD releases FFPs to 'Agaton' victims

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Eastern Visayas has released 5,113 family food packs to victims of Tropical Depression Agaton.

As of Tuesday night, the food packs were delivered to Baybay City, Abuyog, Leyte, and Guiuan, Eastern Samar. DSWD is also starting production for more FFPs today.

In Bicol, DSWD has prepositioned 26,742 family food packs worth PHP13.2 million in warehouses across the region, along with non-food items such as tents, sleeping kits, and hygiene kits worth PHP26.7 million.
