BRP Ang Pangulo houses 16 suspected COVID-19 patients

The Philippine Navy has converted the presidential yacht BRP Ang Pangulo into a floating patient care center to accommodate 16 suspected COVID-19 military front-liners.

These patients are quarantined on the yacht while awaiting RT-PCR test results at the AFP General Hospital in Quezon City.

Medical staff aboard the vessel include an on-call doctor, nurse, hospital man, and three medical assistants from the ship’s crew.
