POC: Vaccination starts Friday for Tokyo Olympics, SEAG delegates

Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham Tolentino announced that athletes and delegates bound for the Tokyo Olympics and 2021 Southeast Asian Games will begin receiving COVID-19 vaccinations starting Friday, May 28.

The vaccination drive, approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, will take place at Manila Prince Hotel from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Tolentino stated that all Olympic-bound and SEA Games-bound delegates, including athletes, coaches, officials, and journalists, are eligible for vaccination.
