POC: SEAG gold, silver medalists eyed for Asian Games

Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham Tolentino said gold and silver medalists from the recent Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia will be strongly considered for the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

Tolentino added that these athletes will receive funding under Group A classification, while others will be evaluated under Group B.

The selection criteria also include Asian and world rankings, as results from the Asian Games serve as qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
