SEA Games gold, silver medalists shortlisted for Asian tilts

Filipino athletics gold and silver medalists from the 32nd Phnom Penh Southeast Asian Games are likely to be shortlisted for the national team competing in both the Asian Championships and Asian Games.

Philippine Athletics Track and Field Association Secretary-General Edward Kho said during Sunday's presser that those who performed well at the SEA Games will be prioritized, with a silver medal being the minimum standard.

Gold medalists EJ Obiena (pole vault), Eric Cray (400-meter hurdles), Janrey Ubas (long jump), and the 4x400m relay team are among those expected to make the national team, along with ten silver medal winners led by Sarah Dequinan in heptathlon.
