PNP to probe Duterte's claim of cocaine-using 2022 presidential bet

PNP Chief Dionardo Carlos announced on Monday that the PNP will review data from the past five years to identify a 2022 presidential aspirant accused by President Rodrigo Duterte of using cocaine.

Carlos stated they would coordinate with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for a joint investigation and ordered the Police Force's Drug Enforcement Group (DEG) to gather more information on the matter.

The PNP chief also encouraged all candidates to voluntarily undergo drug testing, though it is not required by the Commission on Elections.
