PNP reassigns top officials to new roles

Ten top-ranking Philippine National Police (PNP) officials were reassigned to new positions effective Wednesday, with further updates announced on Saturday and Friday.

Brigadier Generals Christopher Abecia, Ramil Montilla, Jean Fajardo, Redrico Maranan, Eleazar Matta, Wilson Asueta, and Bowenn Joey Masauding were appointed to various leadership roles within the PNP.

Colonels Mariano Rodriguez, Arnold Santiago, Randolf Tuaño, Elmer Ragay, Rolando Cuya Jr., and William Segun were designated acting deputy regional directors or heads of specific units across different regions and departments.

Jean Fajardo was named director of PRO3 (Central Luzon), while Redrico Maranan moved from PRO3 to become the new director of PRO7 (Central Visayas).

Roel Rodolfo, previously in charge of the PNP Anti-Kidnapping Group (AKG), took over as director of PRO9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) replacing Bowen Masauding, who is now deputy director for comptrollership.

Randolf Tuaño was appointed as the new PNP-PIO head and spokesperson.
