PNP reorganizes top officials, Rodriguez as Acting Deputy Chief

Seven ranking police officials have been reorganized within the Philippine National Police (PNP) with Maj. Gen. Robert Rodriguez taking over as Acting Deputy Chief for Operations.

Brigadier Generals Jericho Baldeo and Ramil Montilla were appointed to lead different departments within the PNP, while Brigadier Generals Dionisio Bartolome Jr., Roy Parena, Christopher Abecia, and Alan Nazarro received new assignments in various regions.

Due to the retirement of PRO Caraga chief Police Brigadier General Alan Nazarro, former AVSEG director Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano has been appointed as PRO Caraga officer-in-charge.

Former PRO Calabarzon deputy regional director for administration (DRDA) Police Brigadier General Christopher Abecia is now the new AVSEG officer-in-charge.

Police Brigadier General Radel Ramos's retirement prompted Police Brigadier General Ramil Montilla to take over as PNP Headquarters Support Service (HSS) officer-in-charge, while former PRO 7 DRDA Police Brigadier General Roy Parena moved to the Directorate for Police Community Relations (DPCR).

Former PRO 11 DRDA Police Brigadier General Dionisio Bartolome Jr. replaced Parena as PRO 7 DRDA.

PNP Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil addressed police officers during a flag-raising ceremony, emphasizing the importance of upholding their dignity and working towards a 'Bagong Pilipinas' where every officer symbolizes hope, peace, and justice.
