PNP COVID-19 cases rise to seven

As of Tuesday, Mar 31, the total number of Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel infected with COVID-19 has risen to seven.

Four new cases were reported, including a 53-year-old male, a 52-year-old male, a 47-year-old female, and a 46-year-old male, all based in Metro Manila.

The PNP Health Service data shows that there are now 145 PNP personnel under investigation and 1,416 listed as persons under monitoring for the virus.

In response to the increasing number of cases, PNP chief General Archie Francisco Gamboa ordered the opening of the Kiangan Billeting Center inside Camp Crame for police officers who need to self-quarantine.
