PNP: Over 19K NCR residents violate Alert Level 3 rules

As of Sunday, October 17, a total of 19,014 quarantine violators have been recorded in the National Capital Region since Alert Level 3 was implemented.

The majority of these violations occurred on Sunday with 11,125 new cases reported that day.

Approximately 57% of violators received warnings, while 36% were fined and 8% faced other sanctions.

Additionally, 13,831 individuals violated minimum public health standards, including 8,273 newly reported cases on Sunday.

For curfew violations, a total of 5,058 violators were recorded, with 2,809 new cases on Sunday.
