PNP deploys 3K officers, 7K on standby for Crising

The Philippine National Police deployed around 3,000 officers and an additional 7,000 are on standby for disaster response operations due to the combined effects of the southwest monsoon and Severe Tropical Storm Crising.

As of Monday morning, police have assisted over 276 individuals during rescue operations and served approximately 35,000 people in evacuation centers.

In affected regions such as Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Western Visayas, six civilians were injured and six others reported missing due to the storm.

The Philippine National Police also reported damage to some of their equipment with 62 personnel affected by the typhoon.

Classes for Monday, July 21, 2025, have been suspended in certain areas due to inclement weather conditions.
