PNP: 440 cops infected with COVID-19

As of Wednesday night, 440 Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel have been infected with COVID-19, with seven deaths and 258 recoveries.

The latest fatalities are two policemen from Cebu City who died on June 14 after testing positive for the virus.

Of the total cases, there are also 699 probable cases and 874 suspected cases.

To combat the spread of COVID-19 within the police force, PNP has launched an RT/PCR facility and established isolation facilities at Camp Crame.
