Cebu City surpasses 4K coronavirus cases

As of Thursday, June 18, Cebu City has recorded over 4,000 coronavirus cases with 201 new cases reported on Wednesday.

The city now has 1,980 active cases and a recovery rate of 49.5 percent with 1,988 recoveries.

Seven more deaths were also reported, bringing the total death toll to 48.

In Central Visayas, the total number of Covid-19 cases jumped to 4,591 after 131 new cases were discovered on June 12, with Cebu City accounting for most of these new cases.
